Showcasing Robert Dacus

Robert Dacus is a Colorado native.  He established his interest and love of art at an early age. This devotion to art guided him to art school at the Art Institute of Colorado. Upon graduation, Robert was awarded an associate's degree in Graphic Design. After graduation, Robert developed and perfected several techniques that he explored while at art school. Over the following years, Robert continued to expand his love for painting and illustration.   Robert has been a strong supporter and contributor to the Colorado Art scene. Including being a contributor to the board of the Colorado Black Art Festival, an organization that encourages other artists to develop, display, and sell their works. Robert has also taken a mentorship role in the community by offering new and upcoming artists training classes.

In 2017, after his mother's passing, decided he needed a new environment and took a leap of faith and moved to his dream location of Dallas, Texas. He has established a new art studio and continues to explore new textures and media. Robert is enjoying Dallas, Texas, along with the offerings of a new environment.
